01Data controller

This site, auracord.org ("AURAcord", "the Site", "we"), is run as an independent project dedicated to organizing competitive Fortnite scrims and tournaments for the EU community.

For any request regarding the processing of your personal data, you can reach us at the address listed in the Contact section, or through the official AURAcord Discord server.

02Data we collect

We only collect the data needed to run scrims, tournaments, and leaderboards. Specifically:

CategoryDataSource
Discord accountUser ID, username, avatar, server rolesDiscord OAuth2, at login
SessionSession token (7-day duration)Generated by the Worker after login, stored in Cloudflare KV
In-app activityClaimed map zones/slots, associated teamInteraction with session.html / tournament.html
Tournament dataPublic placement and elimination statsYunite API, linked to your Fortnite/Epic account via the tournament's Discord server
Technical dataIP address, device/browser typeAutomatically collected by Cloudflare infrastructure and Google AdSense

We do not collect payment data, physical addresses, or identity documents: taking part in scrims never requires a purchase.

03Login with Discord

Access to the Site happens through Discord OAuth2. When you log in, Discord shares your user ID, username, avatar, and the list of roles you hold on the AURAcord Discord server with us.

We use the CUSTOM ADMIN role only to determine whether you can access admin features (creating scrims, managing map presets, locking the map). For tournaments, we also check whether you hold the Discord role matching the tournament's name, to establish your eligibility to participate.

We never have access to your Discord password: authentication happens entirely through the OAuth2 protocol managed by Discord itself.

04Cookies & advertising

The Site uses essential technical cookies (e.g. to keep you logged in) and, where active, the Google AdSense advertising service.

Technical cookies

  • Session cookie/token to recognize a logged-in user across pages.
  • Local display preferences (e.g. selected map zoom level).

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites. You can manage your personalized advertising preferences directly from Google Ads Settings.

◆

If you're in the EU, remember that the cookie consent banner (CMP) must appear before any non-essential cookie is set, and users must be able to reject as easily as they accept.

05Third-party services

To power real-time features and leaderboards, we rely on the following external services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

ServicePurposeData involved
DiscordAuthentication, roles, communityID, username, avatar, roles
Pusher ChannelsReal-time updates (zone claims)Zone/slot ID, no direct personal data
Cloudflare Workers & KVHosting, session & scrim data storageSession tokens, scrim/tournament data
YuniteTournament leaderboards based on in-game statsPublic placement/elimination stats
Google AdSenseAdvertisingCookies, IP, browsing data

06Purposes & legal basis

  • Service delivery (organizing scrims/tournaments, leaderboards) — performance of an agreement with the user who registers voluntarily.
  • Security & abuse prevention (e.g. admin role verification) — legitimate interest in ensuring correct use of the platform.
  • Advertising via Google AdSense — user consent, collected through the cookie banner.

07Data retention

Session tokens stored in Cloudflare KV automatically expire after 7 days, after which they are deleted. Data related to scrims, tournaments, and zone claims remains available as long as the session/tournament is active, or until an administrator removes it.

08Your rights

If you're located in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you the right to:

  • Request access to the data we hold about you;
  • Request correction or deletion of that data;
  • Object to processing or request that it be restricted;
  • Withdraw consent to personalized advertising at any time;
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section.

09Minors

AURAcord is aimed at competitive Fortnite players; joining the Site requires a Discord account, which is subject to Discord's Terms of Service (minimum age 13, unless stricter local requirements apply). We do not knowingly collect data from children below the minimum age allowed by Discord.

10Security

Data is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers and KV) and communications happen over HTTPS. Access to admin features is restricted to users with a server-verified CUSTOM ADMIN Discord role.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Site or to legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the most current version. In case of material changes, we will announce them via the official Discord server.

12Contact
